A space housed in The School of Languages, Cultures and Society, exhibits eclectic selections of art from well-established and emerging artists and visually advances different critical methods of seeing, and transformative approaches to large intercultural questions. The gallery has a welcome place in an international language department, bringing cultures together and has become a confluence of disciplines, a place for discussion and wonder.

The Little Gallery hosts at least one exhibition per term with opening receptions with the artist present. The gallery is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and closed on the weekends and school holidays.
Helen is Director of The Little Gallery at Oregon State University’s Department of World Languages and Cultures. She has loved art, all of the arts, her whole life. Born to a mother who was herself an artist, she grew up in the world of the arts. She studied music and dance at the Kansas City Conservatory of Music, and studied piano under Dr. Rendina, who was the founder of the Kansas City Philharmonic Orchestra. Helen feels lucky to have had a few years prior to working at Oregon State, with work as an art dealer. She is President of the Corvallis Youth Symphony Foundation. Her private hours are filled with ravenous study of the histories of art and ballet.
